AAALACThe OSU Animal Care and Use program is fully accredited by AAALAC (Accreditation #000028). AAALAC stands for the "Association of Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care." AAALAC international is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes the humane treatment of animals in science through voluntary accreditation and assessment programs.

OLAWThe OSU Animal Care and Use program assurance (A3261-01) has been approved by the Office of Lab Animal Welfare (OLAW).

Animal Welfare Regulations

USDAThe program is licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), #31-R-014, and is in full compliance with the Animal Welfare Regulations.
