Facility Transfers (internal movement)

When animals are moved between animal facilities, a ULAR Internal Transfer form (Form 105) must be completed.

Some animals may require additional testing before transfer to a cleaner ULAR facility for example:

  • Colony testing and disease elimination.
  • PI requests to move animals from a barrier or conventional room into a sterile room.

Testing costs will be billed to the PI. Quarantine periods vary, dependent upon tests required.

Completed form should be submitted to animal facility supervisor.
