Training in Laboratory Animal Medicine
ULAR veterinarians are faculty members in the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine. They are actively involved in teaching professional, undergraduate, and continuing education courses in the College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as in several other colleges on campus.
Residency Program
ULAR has an active residency program to train veterinarians in the specialty of laboratory animal medicine. The program, which is certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM), can enroll up to six residents at one time.
